45. P.S.I. Auction – a total success
On the second weekend of december, the 45th P.S.I. Auction took place at the P.S.I. Sports and Auction Centre in Ankum amidst the usual festive backdrop. Paul Schockemöhle and Ulli Kasselmann presented once again a collection of supremely bred and trained young sport horses to an international clientele.
The quality and unrivalled service once again kept the interest and purchasing power of many long-standing customers of Performance Sales International. Thus, we can look back on a very successful 45th P.S.I. auction: With total proceeds of 19,660,000 EUR, the dressage horses fetched an average of 359,200 EUR and the show jumpers 427,200 EUR. Both the Chacoon Blue daughter Chaceana PS and the Vivino x Fürst Jazz offspring Vivendy went under the hammer in the seven-figure range.
As part of the gala evening under the motto ‘Fête de Paris’, Christian Kukuk (sport) and his grandfather Franz Kukuk (lifelong achievement) were also honoured with the traditional P.S.I. Award – our warmest congratulations! Congratulations also go to Frederic Wandres, who was awarded the FN Decoration of Honour in gold with the Olympic rings by national coach Monica Theodorescu.
As every year, the 45th P.S.I. Auction was a great event, which was characterised by the exceptionally good conditions of the P.S.I. Sports and Auction Centre in Ankum, including the arena with our High Score Performance Ground for optimum conditions for the presentation of young sport horses.
